Funkturm will once again be featured as part of Fluorescent, D.O.R's regular club
night featuring the (un)usual blend of programmed electronics, ambiences and esoteric
breaks, via a mixture of live performance and djs. Moving ahead of the advancing
wave, Fluorescent has relocated to the heart of London’s West End.
Saturday March 6th features live improvised mixtape madness from Funkturm, analogue
manipulation and experimental electronica from Doppler 20:20, alongside DJ sets
from Timothy Evans (Caustic Visions / Funkturm) and Wire staff member and Resonance
FM founder Phil England. Timothy Evans will be playing his non-standard mix of
techno, hip hop breaks & works-in-progress, whilst Phil England explores a
political edge with a range of recorded sound. The night will also host the D.O.R
cinema, with it’s mixture of experimental film and video footage by various
label contributors.
The Royal George is situated in Goslett Yard, 133 Charing Cross Road WC2, London,
England.
Admission is free. Sounds from 8.30pm until 12.30 am.
